What year did you start CrossFitting?


Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?

When I was 36 my son told me I couldn’t do CrossFit because I never worked out. (Essentially a couch potato!) I decided I had to 1) Prove him wrong and 2) set a better example for the rest of my kids. The first time I had that barbell overhead and someone said “Wow, you’re really strong!” I knew I was hooked for life! My husband introduced me to kettlebells and my CrossFit performance improved 100% so of course, I fell in love with that as well!

Why did you become a trainer?

I grudgingly subbed for my husband whenever he had to go out of town. Eventually I got comfortable and discovered I really liked coaching and helping people. Now it has become a passion to get women (especially “older” women like myself) to realize how many things they can do. That it is not to late to be strong and healthy!

What’s your favorite CrossFit movement?


What is your favorite cheat food?

Potato Chips or Margaritas if a drink counts!

What’s your favorite Superhero and why?

Wonder Woman. She was the first strong and gorgeous role model I was introduced to. Charlie’s Angels would be a close second! (Kick-ass women!)
