Overview: This is a new program that will focus on developing your gymnastics skills and techniques. Sessions will be 30 minutes and will focus on strength, technique and progressions for your gymnastics skills. All abilities are welcome, however, the primary focus will be on building strength, confidence and progressions towards more advanced skills. The progressions will be structured for each individual to best challenge you and develop your skills for the push-up, pull up, headstands and handstands, and toes-to-bar or knees-to-elbow. We will also incorporate several core strength drills and stability drills.

We will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, you will also have 1-2 assignments to complete between sessions. The programming will follow a blend of CrossFit Gymnastics programming and the Invictus Gymnastics Level 1. Participants will get all workouts on the first day and information on how to modify or complete a workout at home if you have to miss one of the sessions.

Tuesdays: Headstand/Handstand and Pull Up

Thursdays: Push Up and Toes-to-Bar/Knees-to-Elbow

Free Information and Introductory Session: A free information and introductory session will be offered Saturday, August 18th 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. This session is to further discuss the structure of this program as well as begin to work the progressions for the push-up and pull up. Course format and skills will be discussed and plenty of time will be allowed to answer any questions you may have.
